WHO WE ARE

Crest Resources is a private independent oil and gas company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma engaged in the acquisition, operation, and exploitation of oil and gas assets in the Powder River Basin, Mid-Continent, and South Texas regions.

Our Story

Crest Resources, Inc. was founded by Glenn H. Hudgens in January 1987 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1989. The Company’s management team has over 150 combined years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including substantial experience in developing and operating oil and gas properties and executing acquisitions and divestitures.

Crest has proven to substantially reduce risk by focusing on projects where the Company’s engineering studies correspond with its geologic study, in areas where its geologic staff are “local experts”.

Since 1987, Crest has raised capital to develop the Company’s projects from Mezzanine lenders, private investors, wealthy individuals, and industry partners that continue to participate in Crest’s projects.

Crest’s management team has drilled over 280 wells with an 82% drilling success rate since 1987.

Crest utilizes existing 3D seismic where appropriate and has led proprietary shoots to further define prospects.

Tanja King has over 15 years of experience in oil and gas accounting in both the private and public sectors.
